I really enjoyed this book. I liked the characters especially how Rebecca fell into her job. It was a quick read for me.

This book officially added Ava Lore to my list of favorite authors. I love when humor is added to a sexy book, which this definitely did.

Rebecca has pretty much given up on life and her sister's super clean house only proves that point, but when she's forced out of the house to find a job she ventures into something she was not expecting.

Kent needs a babysitter for his baby brother, after a less than conventional group interview he ends up with two candidates and even though this isn't the job Rebecca has thought she was interviewing for, she's no stranger to cleaning up after a drunken drugged up rock star who she finds passed out.

Impressed by her ability to follow through and get the job done, Kent begins to trust Rebecca…and he never trusts anyone, which only complicates the fact that he wants her in his bed more than he'd ever admit. And oh boy does she want to be there too!

This is a story about overcoming what you think you have to be and just being what you are. It's not only about Rebecca and Kent, it's also about Rebecca and Carter. It's a lovely story. Not to mention there's sex and rock stars! And to be completely honest, I highlighted so many things in this book that I loved that there's no way I can limit them down to a few favorites, but I'll try.

My Favorite Quotes "Douchebag opinions were, by definition, inconsequential."

"Unfortunately, I didn't think put a match to it and watch the mother****er burn was an acceptable answer."

"She hated to be told that someone didn't 'have time' to do something properly. She always said that sort of thing meant someone was trying to f*** you with a condom so you didn't have evidence to show the police."

My Favorite Laughable Moments I loved it when Rebecca first met Carter (well after she helped him get cleaned up).

"You need some dildos, Rebecca? I have lots, apparently!"

"No, thanks."

"There are seven here. That's enough to get arrested in Texas!"

I love what Carter calls Rebecca Mrs. Girlfriend.

I always enjoyed when Carter drove Rebecca to the brink of her breaking point.

"Being Carter's girlfriend was the worst job I had ever had. I pride myself on sticking to jobs as long as I can, but right now I was thinking of quitting. Killing Carter counted as quitting, right?"

Sonya may not be Rebecca's favorite person or vice versa, but I definitely enjoyed her way of vengeance.
Rebecca ends up playing babysitter/fake girlfriend to the guitarist in a newly popular rock band. How she finds out about and then gets the job is amusing; She takes the gig because the money is really good, but really it's because she can't say no to Kent, manager and bassist.

I enjoyed watching Rebecca grow from being a door mat to a much stronger woman. This a chick who seems to have seen it all, got screwed over and still lived to tell the tale. And she's quick-witted so that made for some great lines in this book.

This is a standalone, so no annoying cliffhanger. There's some drama, but it's not angsty. The chemistry between Rebecca and Kent is hot. There's a nice ending, but I always prefer an "I love you" and that was missing.

I liked this despite a couple of issues mainly that the author chooses to skip over the whole first month of her employment with them... which would have added extra depth to the story and for the reader to better understand the relationships she develops with each of the band members who end up becoming her friends.

I'm hoping to see more of Kent and Rebecca in the other books, because I kinda want to know what happens next with them.
This book had me a bit confused at the beginning because it seemed that there were 4 or 5 books in this series. Hard Rock Arrangement encompasses all of the 4 other books listed. Does that make sense? And the author is coming out with book number 2 in The Lonely Kings series soon. Now that I got that out of the way...I did really enjoy this book. Does it rank as good as Olivia Cunning (i.e. my favorite Rock & Roll erotica author) no, but it does come pretty close. I liked the characters in this book...especially Carter...he is just too darn cute. The storyline was also very well done and I hardly came across any grammar or punctuation errors. Pretty good for a self-published book (this is self-published, right?) I think that my favorite part in the book is that the author touches on how the paparazzi affects Rebecca but doesn't go too much in depth into it. I get tired of the Rock & Roll romance books that focus on the angst between the 2 characters and how the paparazzi tears them apart. I am looking forward to the next book in the series and I hope the author continues to right about the rest of the band )
I love rock star romance books - especially if they have 'bad boys' and this has even a bad a*#s lead singer Girl! Sonja! She Rocks!! Kent and carter Hudson- brothers, and manny.. They are all quite dysfunctional, yet stand by each other! Carter, the youngest and probably most talented is dealing w a lot and His brother is trying to hire someone to watch him so he can focus ..
Rebecca just moves from San Diego out of an awful situation from loser bad boy, boyfriend (Jason) and 'want to be' lead singer band "sweet lobotomy" when he steals from his band mates , does drugs - blames on Rebecca! As well as cheating on her the entire time! So penniless, ashamed, and now homeless - Rebecca turns to her sister. Attorney who has her life altogether. Rebecca goes out on job interviews for housekeeper and her sister accidentally gets the address wrong, Rebecca ends up walking into an interview assistance of the up hottest band ' the lonely Kings' where she is to pretend to be 'carter hudsons' girlfriend to keep an eye on him.. However; she turns this entire bands life upside down and all around! There is some major emotions and got sex scenes (won't give any spoilers away!) but this book has it all!! Can't wait for the next book .. Stand a lone .. But next book is carter hudson's story!!
