I just finished reading Ellie G Mraz’s “Love Me Back to Life” (http://www.amazon.com/Love-Back-Life-Coast-R…/…/ref=asap_bc… ) on my Kindle. This Gold Coast Romance book was my first Romance novel. I am mostly into Science-Engineering-Nature-History non-fiction books. I have shunned the Romance genre due to a shameful prejudice of thinking such books would be shallow, boring, and a waste of time. Why this sudden shift to try a book in this genre? Ellie G. Mraz, whom I have known as “Leah”, was a student of mine at Hokkaido International School In Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. I also have spent time with her and her interesting family in South Florida. I know her to be highly intelligent, entertaining story-teller, even in her youth. She grew up in an intellectual family who has traveled the world and provided for her a stimulating environment, complete with family gatherings around the stories of Gary Edward "Garrison" Keillor. I figured if there was going to be a romance book worth reading, it was going to be one by this young woman. I was not disappointed. If you, like me, have been curious about the romance genre, but did not want to waste your time slogging through a random romance book that might put you to sleep, try the stimulating “Love Me Back to Life” by Ellie G. Maez. You have to be impressed by a romance author who quotes Friedrich Nietzsche and who understands the significance of DNA telomeres. This is a story about a widowed nurse, Kendall Matthews, whose internal struggle with grief and guilt may prevent her from developing a new relationship with a neurosurgeon at the south Florida hospital where she works. The love of Dr. Anson Alloway may be the stimulus she needs to discover joy again… but is the timing wrong? The good doc, himself, has his own emotional damage and a history that may prevent these kindred spirits from connecting. WARNING: Do NOT read this book with contact lenses! Even if you wear reading glasses, have a rag handy because the steamy content may fog up the lenses. This is a fiction book with a lot of interesting non-fiction content written by a south Florida nurse about a south Florida nurse. You will not find nurses wearing doctor’s stethoscopes in this novel! You will find realistic human emotions, believable character development, and true descriptions of south Florida life. 5/5 stars

I'm so impressed with love me back to life. I feel connected with the characters. The book was funny suspenseful and very sexy!!! Left me hanging at the end so I'm hoping Elle G. Mraz is working the sequal!!! I'm dying to know what will happen in Miami. I highly recommend this book to everyone. I honestly enjoyed ever page.
Awesome book, unable to put it down after turning the first page. The titillating lingo kept my attention to say the least. I cried, laughed and silently shared the emotional roller coaster ride of AA and KM. You rocked it Elle G Mraz
A friend on Facebook recommended that we support a local author from Delray so I decided to jump in. Fun reading about local places and I keep looking for the dirt road off on Lantana Road when I drive that way ) I can't wait to see what happens between Kendall and Anson and of course my imagination has taken off. Great job Elle.
Great story. I want more!!! I loved the process of healing, trying to move forward and being loved back to life. Loved the electricity between Kendall and Anson. I can't wait to read the next book!!
This is my first read of a Gold Coast Romance and I really enjoyed this book. The writer was very descriptive of her characters, plot, and details and I was quickly immersed into the book. It was a hot read...and very well written. I liked her characters a lot and am VERY eager to read Elle's next book.
Great book! I literally couldn't put it down and stayed up into the night to finish it. In the post 50 Shades of Grey era, so many authors are trying their hand at this genre, focusing on the spicy scenes but not taking the time to develop the story or characters. This was not the case in Love Me Back to Life; it was easy to become engaged in the plot and to connect with the characters. The bedroom scenes were hot and well written but didn't take over the whole book. t can't wait for book two and to see what happens next!
OMG! This book right here...WOW!! I loved every single part of this story and I absolutely cannot wait to find out more of Kendall and Anston's love story! It certainly was not boring and the author did an amazing job setting the scene so you feel as though you're right smack in the middle of the nurse's station watching it all unfold. The roller coaster ride of emotions were so fast paced that you didn't realize you've finished reading the entire story in a matter of hours, sleep be damned. Get it today, not just for the sole reason of the book's amazing story, but also to support a wonderful cause, as a percentage of the proceeds are donated to the Gold Coast foundation for Down Syndrome!
